Who We Are
Starlight Funeral Services is a Singapore funeral care team. We arrange wakes, funerals, cremations and the many quiet details in between, across every faith and tradition.
Our purpose is simple. We take care of the arrangements so that families can spend these days with one another, rather than with checklists and phone calls.
But we also care about what comes after the funeral: how a family goes on remembering. That is where our name comes from.

Our Name
When someone we love is gone, we are often left wondering where they are, and how we will keep them close. Many of us have found ourselves looking up at the night sky in those moments, and finding a little comfort there.
The stars were shining long before we arrived, and they will keep shining long after. Their light travels across enormous distances to reach us. Sometimes the star itself is far away, yet its light is still here, still visible, still ours to look at.
That is how we came to think about remembrance. A life does not simply stop shining on the day it leaves us. Its light stays with the people who loved it, in the stories they tell, in the habits they inherit, in a song or a favourite dish that suddenly brings someone back to the table.
We chose the name Starlight because we wanted every family to have somewhere to look when they miss someone. Up, on a quiet night, at the stars.
In Chinese, our name is 星光生命礼仪: starlight, life, and ceremony. It carries the same belief. A funeral is not only a farewell, but a way of honouring a life and helping its light go on.
This belief shapes how we serve. We do not rush families, and we never treat a farewell as routine. We listen first, we respect every faith and custom, and we handle the practical details quietly in the background, so that the person being remembered stays at the centre.
When the days of the wake are over and the house is quiet again, our hope is that the farewell is remembered as a gentle one, and that the night sky becomes a place of comfort, not only of loss.
